First Strike Combat Robots by Repeat Robotics are a new way to get started with robot combat. Designed from the ground up to be safe, approachable, and exciting! At 260g, these kits don’t fit into traditional plastic ant or full-combat weight classes. Instead, they create their own category: open-air tabletop robot combat that can be enjoyed anywhere without the need for a dedicated arena. 

Each kit is built around a custom-designed Core Module that integrates the receiver, ESCs, and 2WD drive motors into a durable injection-molded nylon chassis. This simplifies wiring, reduces assembly complexity, and ensures consistent performance. The included custom transmitter comes pre-configured and ready to run! No mixing, no programming, no soldering required. 

Assembly takes between 30 and 120 minutes depending on experience level. All kits are solderless and include every required component and tool: screwdriver, hex key, removable 2S 450mAh Li-ion battery, USB charger with overcharge protection, transmitter, core module, wheels, hardware, etc. With over 30 minutes of runtime per charge, you’ll have plenty of time to practice driving and battle your friends. 

This is a hobby-grade product, not a toy. The platform is engineered to be repairable and expandable, with replacement parts available and open-source chassis files coming soon. Builders will be able to modify, redesign, and 3D print their own frames, or upgrade to future expansion modules, including alternate weapon and drive styles.
