Repeat Drive Pro
$25.00 – $65.00
Does your beetleweight need more drive power?
Not happy with any of the options on the market?
Tired of trying to put your own shafts into a 2xxx motor to get all the torque???
Repeat drive pro is modeled after the drivetrain that drove lynx to 3 world championship titles. Its a customized 24mm 27:1 gearbox with a massive 2207.5 motor slapped on it. This motor gives more torque than any 3lber could ever hope to use, but sometimes overkill is best.
Description
2207 Motor Features:
- Custom wound 2207.5 brushless motor
- 1900kv – 2-6S voltage, 1065W on 6S
- 2500kv – 2-4S voltage, 709W on 4S
- 24mm, 27:1 custom designed all metal planetary gearbox
- 6mm “D” extra long output shaft (cut to the length that you need to save weight)
- Custom billet 4130 final planet carrier and output shaft
- Output shaft c-clip has been changed to minimize the groove and provide the strongest product.
- ~80g weight
- Custom square M3 facemount hole pattern (9mm apart, 22mm hole circle (~9x20mm rectangle))

2006 Motor Features:
- Custom wound 2006 brushless motor
- 1900kv – 2-6S voltage
- 2500kv – 2-4S voltage
- 24mm, 27:1 custom designed all metal planetary gearbox
- 6mm “D” extra long output shaft (cut to the length that you need to save weight)
- Custom billet 4130 final planet carrier and output shaft
- Output shaft c-clip has been changed to minimize the groove and provide the strongest product.
- 64.5g weight
- Custom square M3 facemount hole pattern (9mm apart, 22mm hole circle (~9x20mm rectangle))

2006 Replacement Motor :
- Ready to bolt onto a pro gearbox
- Comes with pinion gear already attached
Re-greasing is recommended for high voltage usage and improved performance. Replacing the grease with a thinner grease or oil will reduce load and heating.

Its a beast of a drive motor/gearbox combo! A lot of folks told me i dont “need” it, and they were right…Mostly… “You’re traction limited.” Of course, nearly all insect weight bots are but thats besides the point. What i needed was a drive capable of 6s voltage with good low speed control that was happy on 6s. Coupled with an AM32(RR AM32 DESC or other) ESC, youll be ready to go.
Pros: great low speed control, far more torque than you could ask for in any insect class, 6s comfortable(not just capable with careful considerations on use) for those of us who make questionable life/robot decisions.
Cons: weight(approx 11g vs Max’s), price and lack of currently available replacement parts(hopefully Peter is working on that).
Hobbies get expensive… Folks will spend 1k+ on a set of golf clubs, but cringe at spending $10-20 more on a drive motor? These are my choice after trying Dartbox Dragons and Max’s. Your results may vary, blah blah blah, but these things are beasts… IF you need a Beast, look no further.

Pro 2006 gearmotors are the best option for beetleweight drivetrain at the moment. Paired with the AM32 DESC they’re more robust and lighter than even maxes. If you want to go pro, get the pros.
